Why companies certify

Who needs ISO 45001— and when

ISO 45001 replaces reactive incident handling with hazard identification, risk assessment and worker participation. Certified companies show lower incident rates, lower insurance costs and pass client safety qualification faster.

Demanded by general contractors, industrial groups and international clients who audit supplier safety performance.

We still have an OHSAS 18001 certificate — what now?+
OHSAS 18001 was withdrawn in 2021. Migration to ISO 45001 requires a transition audit; we plan it as part of your next surveillance or re-certification.
Does ISO 45001 replace legal safety inspections?+
No. It builds the system that keeps you compliant between inspections and documents it for auditors and clients.
How long does the audit take?+
It depends on headcount and risk level of activities. A 100-person manufacturer typically needs 4–5 audit days across Stage 1 and Stage 2.
